About:

Bi-annual refereed Journal concerned with Development and Economic Policies issues in Arab Countries

 


Objective:

  • Broadening vision and knowledge among decision-makers, practitioners and researchers in the Arab countries about major development and economic policy issues in the region , at the domestic, regional, and international levels.
  • Create intellectual interaction among all parties concerned with Arab Economies

 


Contributors:

  1. Three copies of the manuscript should be submitted to the Editor.

  2. The Journal will consider only original work not published elsewhere and not used to obtain an academic degree.

  3. Manuscripts should not exceed 30 pages, including references, tables and graphs, for research articles and 10 pages for book reviews and reports, typed on 8.5 x 1 1 inch paper, one-sided, double-spaced, and with margins of 1.5 inch on all four sides.

  4. Contributions should be as concise as possible and accessible to policy-makers and practitioners.

  5. Manuscripts should be submitted along with an abstract not exceeding 100 words written in English and Arabic.

  6. Authors should provide their name, affiliation, address, telephone, fax, and e-mail (if available) on a separate page.

  7. In case of more than one author, all correspondence will be addressed to the first-named author.

  8. References should be placed at the end of the document and include only publications cited in the text. References should be listed as follows :

    Krueger, A.0. (1992), Economic Policy Reform in Developing Countries, Blackwell, Oxford.

  9. Footnotes are placed in bottom of the relevant pages and numbered consecutively.

  10. Tables and graphs should be documented and presented along explanatory headings and sources.

  11. Manuscripts sent to the Journal will not be returned.

  12. It is preferred to submit manuscripts on PC format diskette, written in Microsoft Word or any recent word processor. In this case, authors should submit only one hard copy of the manuscript.

  13. Authors will be notified within two weeks upon receipt of the manuscript.

  14. All contributions to the journal are subject to refereeing. Authors will be notified about the results of the refereeing within two weeks of the receipt of correspondence from all referees.

  15. All published works are property of the Journal. As such, any publication of these works elsewhere is not permitted without the written consent of the Journal.

  16. The opinions expressed in the Journal are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Journal nor the Arab Planning Institute's.
