Bi-annual refereed Journal concerned with Development and Economic Policies issues in Arab Countries

Objective:

Broadening vision and knowledge among decision-makers, practitioners and researchers in the Arab countries about major development and economic policy issues in the region , at the domestic, regional, and international levels.
Create intellectual interaction among all parties concerned with Arab Economies

Contributors:

Submissions of manuscripts should be made electronically to the Editor, via Email: jodep@api.org.kw.
The Journal will consider only original work not published elsewhere.
Manuscripts should not exceed 30 pages, including references, tables and graphs, for research articles and 10 pages for book reviews and reports, typed on 8.5 x 11 inch paper, one-sided, double-spaced, and with margins of 1.5 inch on all four sides.
Contributions should be as concise as possible and accessible to policy-makers and practitioners.
Manuscripts should be submitted along with an abstract not exceeding 100 words written in English and Arabic. The abstract will appear in various online and printed abstract Journals.
Authors should provide their name, affiliation, address, telephone, fax, and e-mail on a separate page.
In case of more than one author, all correspondence will be addressed to the first-named author.
Citations should conform to the style guidelines of the American Economic Review: Style Guide (http://www.aeaweb.org/sample_references.pdf) The references must be provided in alphabetical order, at the end of the paper.
Footnotes are to be placed at the bottom of the relevant pages and numbered consecutively.
Tables and graphs should be documented and presented along explanatory headings and sources.
It is preferred to submit manuscripts written in Microsoft Word.
Electronically submitted manuscripts will be acknowledged immediately.
All contributions to the journal are subject to refereeing. Authors will be notified about the results of the refereeing within two weeks of the receipt of correspondence from all referees.
AAll published works are the property of the Journal. As such, any publication of these works elsewhere is not permitted without the written consent of the Journal.
The opinions expressed in the Journal are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Journal nor the Arab Planning Institute's.
The comminicating author of each accepted paper will receive 5 off-prints of the article and one copy of the journal.
