API held the 1st Meeting for 2011/2012 of its Board of Trustees
The Arab Planning Institute (API) held the 1st Meeting of its Board of Trustees for 2011/2012 on Wednesday 11/1/2012 in Mrrakesh – Morocco. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Amani Bouresli, Kuwaiti Minister of Trade and Industry, and Minister of State for Planning and Development Affairs, and President of API's Board of Trustees. The Meeting was attended by 15 representatives of Arab Member Countries, in addition to Dr. Bader O. Malallah, API’s Director General, and Dr. Ali Abdel Gadir Ali, API's Deputy Director General.
In this Meeting, the Board of Trustees approved API's Scientific and Financial reports for 2010/2011.
On Thursday 12/1/2012 API organized a Development Forum for Arab Decision Makers. The Forum was attended by the Members of API's Board of Trustees who exchanged views and lessons of ecperience on a number of development issues relevant to their countries.

The Arab Planning Institute (API) held the 2nd Meeting of its Board of Trustees for 2010/2011 on 5/6/2011 in Dubai – UAE. The Meeting was chaired by Dr. Adel Al-Wugayan, Secretary General of the Higher Council for Planning and Development, Member of the delegation of the State of Kuwait in API’s Board of Trustees. The Meeting was attended by 12 representatives of Arab Member Countries, in addition to API’s Acting Director General Dr. Ali Abdel Gadir Ali.
In this Meeting, the Board of Trustees adopted the proposed 2011/2012 work plan and budget.

API held the Annual Meeting of its Advisory Board
The Arab Planning Institute (API) held the Annual Meeting of its Advisory Board on 12/4/2011 in Beirut-Lebanon. The Meeting was chaired by API’s Acting Director General - Dr. Ali Abdel Ghadir Ali. The Board discussed the institute’s 2011/2012 Work Plan. Members attending the meeting included Dr. Ibrahim Elbadawi – Director of Macroeconomic and Forecasting Economic Policy & Research Center at Dubai Economic Council; Dr. Sulaiman Al-Jassim, President of Zayed University, UAE; Dr. Nader Al-Kabbani, Director of the Syrian Centre for Development Research - The Syria Trust for Development; and Dr. Ahmed Al-Kawaz - Coordinator of API’s Research Committee.
